  2. Closed heating element. Used very rarely, in more expensive models. The heating coil is placed in a metal tube with high thermal conductivity. This type of heating element allows you to achieve the same heat output at lower heating temperatures, does not dry the air so much and is safer.
  3. Ceramic heating element. It is used in the most modern heat pumps. Ceramic plates do not heat over 200°C, practically do not dry the air, and thermal fans with their use cost practically the same as with the use of heating elements.

The fan heater has a power output of 400–2000 watts. Models with a 2 kW capacity are intended to heat a space that is 18–20 m 2 in size, with ceilings no higher than 3 m, one or two windows, and one exterior wall (1 kW per 10 m 2). Depending on the model, heating the air to a comfortable temperature takes between 30 and 80 minutes.

The noise produced by the fan and the air moving through the structure is between 15 and 47 dB, similar to that of a standard fan (also depends on the fan heater model).

Heat guns produce noise levels that are 2-3 times higher due to their increased power. It is not advised to use gas and diesel products in small, enclosed spaces because during combustion they burn oxygen and release harmful substances into the air.
