The design of the AGV

The most popular model from those days, the gas boiler AGV 80, functions on a principle that is eerily similar to an ordinary kettle of water placed on a gas stove. Problems arise in the summer when heating water at the DHW due to combined AKGV boilers. The same instructions state that the device enters normal mode after ten minutes. following the hot water tap being turned on, which is not very practical for users.

Installation advice AGV

  • Since the air for combustion takes the heater from the room, it must be organized in it with good supply and exhaust ventilation;
  • The passage in front of the unit must be withstanded 1 m, the distance to the nearest wall is at least 200 mm. If it is made of combustible material, then it is necessary to install a screen of sheet asbestos or basalt cardboard.

Since installing an AGV in a private home entails connecting it to gas supply networks, it is important to remember that only licensed businesses with the consent of the service provider may carry out these tasks. It is crucial to install a gravity heating system that can withstand slopes of 3–5 mm per 1 m of pipe when doing so without the use of electricity.
